We had the pleasure of being on the west side of Michigan for a college visit for our daughter Marisa, so what a wonderful opportunity to photograph an engagement in one of our special towns in Michigan.  Andy went to school with our son Conrad so we've had the pleasure of photographing him and his family for the past 15 years of so.  When we heard Andy and Alex were engaged a suggested Holland engagement was in order since they are currently living there.  It was our first time photographing around downtown Holland and at a smaller public beach nearby.  What an incredible quaint downtown area to photograph!  We started around the downtown, moved over the Hope College and used some of their architecture and buildings and then finished at a smaller public beach access.  With the water levels high all over the state the water line was pretty close to the dunes but still wonderful to photograph with a sunset.

We all had some fun for sure capturing some variety.  Congrats to Andy and Alex and I have fun with your wedding planning.
