I am so excited to share portraits of this young lady. Shae started working at the studio back in May and has worked full time this summer and will also be our co-op student from Western High School for this school year. Many of you who have called the studio or have come in have met her in person or over the phone. Shae has been a blessing to us at HLP. We have had a very busy summer and with some changes at the studio, she has jumped right into some key roles and responsibilities at the studio and has handled them beautifully. Shae has dreams of becoming a professional photographer herself so we did do some portraits with her very own camera. Shae sure has a knack for posing in front of the camera as you will see in her portraits. She has fit right into our studio family and is a joy to have around.
For her portrait sessions, we did a Signature session at our studio and Portrait Park and then we made the drive to one of my favorite beach locations for Senior portraits, The ROCK! I grew up climbing on this rock and spent many a summer visiting it when we had our family cottage near Port Austin. Shae and her mom joined me and Marisa, (my awesome assistant) for an incredible evening of lighting and CALM water. I can't ever remember not seeing a ripple on the water. The sunset was spectacular and we sure did get some amazing images and I know Shae talked about going there quite a bit after. It was sure worth the trip, not to mention the must have DQ stop in Caseville on the way home.
